Testimonial

In 2021, in the process of a gut renovation of our townhome at Shadow Mountain Townhomes, which are located above the City of Aspen on Aspen Mountain, I discovered substantial structural issues under our unit.

As a board member of our association, we hired structural engineers, who uncovered major structural issues under all 21 units.  Thus began our search for a structural contractor who could work on the side of a mountain, was an expert at helical pier installations and could work in tight spaces in a short build season. No contractor would take on this complicated project.

Finally, I was referred to Rob Turley at Structural Solutions of Denver by the helical pier manufacturer.  Rob met us on site and immediately proposed solutions to accomplish our objectives and introduced us to the structural engineers who were experienced at designing solutions.  Rob not only permanently solved our structural issues under all 21 units, by installing helical pier down to bedrock, jacking up units that needed to be leveled, and pouring new concrete footers, but he performed these tasks under very difficult conditions on the side of a mountain while we in the middle of a complete exterior remodel at the complex.

Mr. Turley completed this work on time and on budget, which is a rarity in the Colorado mountain towns.  Keelty Construction, our general contractor on our complex’s exterior renovations, recognized this early on and retained Structural Solutions of Denver to install new sewer lines throughout our complex and install sewer lines in individual units. At the Association level, we hired Rob to make and install steel condenser racks to fit unusual spaces and once again he executed on time and on budget.

When you find a contractor in the mountains who does what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it, you stick with them as they are a rare breed.

Structural Solutions came to my rescue. Company initially hired was not thorough hence failed inspection. Brought in Rob who diagnosed the problems. The plan , quote and schedule worked out perfectly. Best decision I could have made. Thank you.
